Jerry
is known as an art teacher, painter, designer, quilt
maker, antique dealer, quilt collector, historian, and
quilt appraiser (Certified in 1989 by the American
Quilters Society) Additionally,
he is a founding board member of the quilt appraisal
program and continues to administrate, teach, test, and
certify other qualified appraisers for A.Q.S.
In 1969 along with his late partner
Paul D. Pilgrim, Jerry established the Pilgrim/Roy
Antique Quilt Collection. He remains owner and curator
of the collection now housed in Warner, NH.
Involved in the quilt world and its
many facets since 1969, his art training prepared him
for fabric and quilt design, and for teaching quilters
the theories of design, composition, and color. That
same training still proves valuable when he judges major
exhibits and competitions throughout the country.

the process of preparing two exhibits at the Stephen
Score Gallery on Beacon Hill in Boston:

2004 - started writing "This Old
Quilt" for Fons and Porter's Love of Quilting
magazine.
2006 - designed Regency Dandy fabric line for Windham
Fabrics.
2007 - will preview Graphic Rhythms fabric line for
Windham fabrics (available10/07).
