Williamsburg, Virginia, has always
been a place where Christmas is breathtaking, spring
comes early, and hospitality is a hallmark. The Historic
Area homes come alive each winter with all-natural
decorations, from elaborate fruit clusters to wreaths to
winding evergreen garlands-a romantic interpretation of
Christmas in 18th-century Williamsburg, when decorations
consisted of simple holly sprigs and pine boughs.
The Christmas Traditions Collection is
inspired by Colonial Williamsburg's exquisite holiday
displays. Each pattern captures an aspect of Christmas
in Williamsburg-from natural elements like holly, fruit,
and pinecones, to period instruments often heard by the
thousands of visitors who come to the Historic Area
every winter.
With beautiful designs, enticing
colors, and timeless appeal, these fabrics will help
quilters create their own piece of history. |
