The
Grand Style Collection is inspired by the
timeless grace and beauty of 18th-century
elegance. Each pattern captures an exquisite
detail-the flourished engravings on a silver
tray, the woven sides of a silver bowl, the
pattern on a punch strainer-from a regal,
colonial-era treasure now in the Colonial
Williamsburg Foundation's collections. These
fine fabrics convey the dramatic sophistication
that the gentry or royal governor might have
entertained.
With beautiful designs, enticing colors, and
timeless appeal, these fabrics will help
quilters create their own piece of history. |

by the collections of Colonial Williamsburg
Exclusively by Windham Fabrics |
Williamsburg. The capital of the
Virginia colony in the 1700s. A bustling center for
political outspokenness and cultural development. After
nearly two centuries as a British royal colony,
Virginians led the American fight for independence. They
wanted the political rights of Englishmen, and their
architecture and decoration as well. The houses,
furniture, textiles, ceramics, and silver they made
fused design details from around the world into a
sophisticated look that we celebrate today. |
