Inspired by the design techniques from the
"simplicity era", this collection offers
quilters the best of classic style reproduction fabrics.
During this particular time period,
fabric designers often used just two bold colors as the
focal point of their collections, red and black, for
example. By adding softer grays and creams, opulent
designs were created from simple color combinations.
Florals, stripes, and prints, although created with
uncomplicated colorations, offered an understated
elegance.
